Sapphire Blue Cherry Shrimp

(Blue Dreams Shrimp)

Blue Dreams Shrimp is a great beginner aquarium shrimp known for their amazing colouration. They are one of the hardiest shrimp we keep in the shrimp room.

Popular for their stunning blue color, they stand out beautifully against a dark substrate. These shrimp are active scavengers, cleaning up waste and feeding on biofilm and algae. Their low maintenance nature and non-aggressive behavior make them excellent tank companions.

SHIPPING RESTRICTION

We cannot ship Livestock and Live Plants to WA and TAS due to State Restrictions.

Please check our DOA and policies before purchase.

Before You Order

  • Check to see if your tank has enough space and is fully cycled.
  • Ensure compatibility with existing tank mates (habitat, temperament, size).
  • Verify water parameters and temperature match the species requirements.
  • Do not stock too quickly. Large influxes of livestock can crash your cycle.

Upon Arrival

  • Do not feed for the first 24 hours. Let them settle.
  • Feeding too quickly risks their health and water quality.
  • If you have existing fish, feed them before releasing new livestock.

Stress & Coloration

It is normal for shrimp to look pale or lethargic after shipping due to stress.

They typically take 3-7 days to fully adapt and return to full colour and vibrancy.
