Fire Red Cherry Shrimp

Description

The Fire Red Cherry Shrimp is the higher quality version of the regular Cherry Shrimp. These guys have been selectively bred for the darker red through generations of culling.  

The Fire Red Shrimp is the most popular choice for freshwater shrimp hobbyists thanks to its availability, affordability, beautiful bright red colouration, and ease of care.  Fire Red Shrimp make a striking and dynamic addition to a freshwater aquarium and will stand out beautifully against a dark substrate. These shrimp are very active as they scavenge the tank, cleaning up waste and leftover food. They love to feed off of naturally occurring biofilm and algae, especially in a planted tank. For this reason, they can be quite low maintenance; in fact, they can even help keep your tank clean! Fire Red Shrimp can withstand a pretty wide range of water parameters, and their life expectancy can be up to 2 years if they are kept well. These shrimp are eager breeders, making them a great choice for beginners to freshwater shrimp breeding. Fire Red Shrimp are not an aggressive species, and this combined with their versatility makes them a good option as tank companions.

Fire Red Shrimp are tolerant to a fairly wide range of water parameters, making them excellent for pairing with other species. As long as the shrimp are acclimated properly to your chosen parameters and are not subjected to extreme changes in temperature or acidity, they are adaptable and resilient. They will tolerate soft or hard water. The ideal water parameters are 21 -30 degree with 7 to 7.5 pH. However, as mentioned, you may keep them outside of these parameters as long as the shrimp are protected from extreme or frequent fluctuations.

Our goal is to use the fastest delivery service possible, although the shipping fee may be higher, we always want our customers to be satisfied and make sure the livestock arrives at your door safe and healthy.

  • For any livestock, you have in your order. If there is any dead problem during transportation. You can send us an email and the video of you receiving the package, if there is more than 50% damage, we will send a replacement, and if less than 50% we will send store credit.

Our shop always delivers healthy shrimp and fish with the best color of their own.

However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period

To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:

🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.

🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home. 

🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.

🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.

🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.

  • Providing them with excellent water quality, giving them a good environment, and feeding them.
  • Fish that live in exceptional-quality water conditions shine brighter and are far more vibrant
  • Use water conditioner
  • A water conditioner is essential for a healthy tank and colorful, lively fish.
