Aura Eye Higher Blue Tigers are a quite popular morph of the Caridina Tiger species from Taiwan. They have higher blue bodies, dark blue tiger stripes, and a very unique set of bright orange eyes.

Water parameters:
All these caridina species prefer aquarium with active soil. Active Soil is a substrate that buffer the Ph to be between 5 to 6.5, creating a thriving environment for freshwater shrimp species, especially for caridina shrimp. The recommended parameters are below
PH: 5.5 to 6.5
GH: 4-5
KH: 0 – 1
Nitrate: 0-20ppm for best results.
TDS 100-150
Temperature: can be anywhere between 20-23 degree but has to be stable.

I bought just one of the aura blue tigers (price is so high) a couple of weeks ago and had hoped it would become more blue as it settled into the tank but it hasn't. It's almost like the shop chose to send me their least blue one they had (see picture from my tank). There is a faint hint of light blue in the shrimp they sent me but unfortunately I just don't think it's worth the price I paid unless I'm getting a decent baby blue colour.
