Proserpinaca palustris – Mermaid Weed

Proserpinaca palustris, commonly known as Mermaid Weed, is a beautiful stem plant prized for its unique, finely serrated leaves and attractive colour changes. Under stronger lighting, the new growth can develop vibrant orange, red and copper tones, creating a striking focal point in planted aquariums.

It grows upright and can be trimmed regularly to encourage bushier growth. Mermaid Weed is a great choice for the midground or background and works especially well in nature-style aquascapes.
