Choose a filter that’s strong enough but doesn't create too much current, which could stress them.
Tank Size: Begin with a tank of at least 10 litres. This gives them space to explore and grow.
Substrate: Opt for a soft, sandy substrate. It's gentle on their bodies and makes moving around easier.

To find good friends for your Blue Ramshorn Snail, look for creatures that are not pushy or aggressive. Small fish, other snails, and shrimp are usually perfect. Here's why finding the right friends matters:
Stress reduction: Calm tank mates make for a stress-free home, leading to happier snails.
Diet compatibility: When all tank creatures enjoy the same foods, there's no fight over meals. This keeps everyone healthy.
Behavioral harmony: Friendly fish and similar creatures live well with slow-moving snails. They don't bother each other.
Adding new friends to your tank takes time and thought. This is to ensure everyone gets along and the environment stays balanced:
Slowly get new mates used to the tank. This gives time for everyone to adjust to the new conditions and each other.
Watch how they get along at the start. This helps you spot and handle any bullying early on.

They do well in water that's 20°C to 28°C with a pH of 7.0 to 7.5. They like tanks with lots of plants and a good substrate for algae grazing.
Their main food is algae. But they also like veggies such as lettuce or spinach. Sometimes, you can give them algae wafers too.
Keep the water clean with regular changes. Check water levels often. Avoid overfeeding to maintain a healthy tank for your snails and their tank mates.
For a great habitat, use a soft substrate and live plants. Ensure the tank has good filtration and no sharp objects that could harm the snail.
Limit food to control breeding. Too much food leads to too many snails. Remove extra snails to keep the population in check.
They get along with small, peaceful fish, shrimp, and other gentle snails. Avoid aggressive fish that might harm the snails.
Use the drip method to slowly get new friends used to the tank. This makes sure everyone is happy and stress-free.
They're mostly known for their blue shade. But they can also be sapphire or cerulean. These colors make them stand out in any aquarium.

However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period
To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:
🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.
🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home.
🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.
🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.
🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.
