✅ Ramshorn Snails are very attractive and are great for adding some color and decoration to your aquarium, but they also serve some very useful purposes. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color.  While they are effective algae-eaters, they do not harm live plants.
 
✅ They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful.  They're hilarious if you have dwarf shrimp like we do - the shrimp love to ride around on the snails!  These snails also reproduce very quickly, making them a great live food starter colony for puffers and other animals that eat snails.
 
✅ Size: 0.5 cm - 1 cm

 

RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: 
  • pH level range: 7.0 and up 
  • Temperature range: 60° - 80° F (16° - 27° C) 
  • Water type: Soft to hard 
  • Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. 
  • Additional notes: Ramshorn Snails are not picky at all about their water parameters, and they tend to reproduce like crazy in almost any conditions. If you run into problems with snail overpopulation, a few Assassin Snails will quickly take care of the problem. Ramshorn Snails eat algae, waste, and invertebrate pellets or fish food. Snails are very sensitive to copper, so watch out for copper if you use tap water in your tank.

  • For any livestock, you have in your order. If there is any dead problem during transportation. You can send us an email and the video of you receiving the package, if there is more than 50% damage, we will send a replacement, and if less than 50% we will send store credit.

  • Any orders you make from noon Wednesday onward will be processed the next Monday.

  • For any livestock you have in your order, we will ship them via express services such as Toll and Startrack Premium. This will usually take 24 - 48 hours to reach you. (after leaving our workshop)

Our shop always delivers healthy shrimp and fish with the best color of their own.

However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period

To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:

🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.

🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home. 

🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.

🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.

🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.

  • Providing them with excellent water quality, giving them a good environment, and feeding them.
  • Fish that live in exceptional-quality water conditions shine brighter and are far more vibrant
  • Use water conditioner
  • A water conditioner is essential for a healthy tank and colorful, lively fish.

Adapted quickly to the new tank, very active and growing fast! He is browner in shell and body than I expected from the photo on the website - so actually much more 'leopard-like' in his appearance. As his new shell comes in his spots look great!
