What we check

01

On-site water testing

Measure pH, GH, KH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and TDS (total dissolved solids). These checks help identify what is affecting the water quality and your livestock.

02

Water change & cleanup

Assess the tank before carrying out a partial water change, vacuuming waste from the gravel and wiping excess algae. Dechlorinators and stabilisers are used as appropriate for the aquarium.

03

Filtration & oxygen checks

Inspect and clean the filter, check the media and restore water flow where needed. We assess the oxygen supply and can add backup aeration if the aquarium needs it.

04

Treatment & follow-up advice

Discuss treatment and next steps based on the tank and its livestock. Where appropriate, support may include ammonia conditioners, beneficial bacteria, salt treatment or temperature support following assessment.
