Full aquarium setup

What the service covers
Custom aquascaping
Select substrate, driftwood and rocks to match your vision. We choose live aquatic plants for the lighting and tank type, and arrange a natural layout with both appearance and fish comfort in mind.
Equipment installation
Set up filtration, lighting, heating or cooling, and optional CO₂ equipment. Installation includes tidy cable routing and a walkthrough so you understand how to use your aquarium equipment.
Water preparation & cycling
Prepare the water with conditioners and beneficial bacteria, and discuss cycling before livestock is introduced. We balance pH, GH and KH for the species you plan to keep and explain the process in straightforward terms.

Full setup questions
How much does a full aquarium setup cost?
The guide starts at $180 for nano tanks and reaches $600+ for larger, premium setups. Your quote depends on the tank size, design, equipment and travel distance. We provide a clear, upfront estimate before the work starts.
Do I need to prepare anything for the consultation?
Let us know the area where you would like the aquarium. We assess the space during the visit and bring the tools and experience to help you choose the location. Photos and any existing tank dimensions are useful when you enquire.
How long does the setup take?
Most setups take around 1–3 hours, depending on the complexity. Larger or more intricate aquascapes can take longer; we discuss the estimated time when you book.
