Note :
How to acclimate and raising the baby Axolots :
- Prepare a tank/tub (5-10 litre) with cycled water or tank water which the depth is around 10cm height as baby Axolots will swim to the to the surface to breath eventually.
- Add air stone in adjust it to be gentle and well oxynated but not blowing them around .
- Add 1/2 leave Indian Almond leave as anti fungus anti bacteria.
- Add any floater plant to suck up the nitrate and helps clean the water . Add guppy grass or moss if you can to prevent them bumping in to each other .
- Acclimate them by dripping method to prevent shocks in to the new water (1 hour )
- Feed them baby brine shrimp ( newly hatch ) or baby daphnia ( baby one ) that fit its mouth . Turn off oxygen when feeding . Feed 4 times a day.
- Observe if over feeding or under feeding to monitor .
- When they grows bigger , separate them individually to prevent nipping each other legs .
- Keep the water clean or maintain water change 10% daily to prevent nitrate and amonia.

🌟 About the Axolotls:
These are 2-week-old baby axolotls, freshly hatched and feeding well. At around 1 cm in size, they are in their delicate larval stage, best suited for experienced keepers or committed beginners ready for frequent feeding and monitoring.
🐠 Daphnia Culture (Live Food):
Daphnia are essential for young axolotls at this age — small enough to eat, full of protein, and stimulate natural hunting behavior.
How to use:
- Add daphnia directly to the baby tank daily
- Keep culture in a separate container with clean, dechlorinated water
- Feed the culture with green water or yeast to keep it thriving ( do not feed yeast in the Axolots tank )
🍂 Indian Almond Leaves:
These leaves slowly release tannins that:
- Help maintain soft, natural water conditions
- Reduce stress and bacterial risk
