Blue Calceo shrimp are a unique and fascinating addition to any aquarium. These freshwater shrimp are known for their vibrant blue coloration, which ranges from light blue to deep navy depending on their age and environment.

They often reaching a maximum size of around 2.5 cm

The pet shrimp you will receive will be sub adults, having a size around 0.7-1cm

Water Parameters:

  • TDS: 120-180

Compatibility: Blue Calceo shrimp are generally peaceful and can be kept with other non-aggressive aquarium inhabitants. However, they are best kept in a dedicated shrimp-only aquarium or with other dwarf shrimp species.

Feeding: Blue Calceo shrimp are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods including algae, biofilm, and commercial shrimp pellets. It's important to provide them with a balanced diet to ensure their health and longevity.

Availability: Blue Calceo shrimp are not as widely available as some other shrimp species and may be more expensive due to their rarity and popularity. They were breed at Micro Aquatic Shop
