Bucephalandra - Devil King

Bucephalandra 'Devil King' is a premium Bucephalandra variety featuring deep green leaves with a distinctive metallic sheen, adding an elegant touch to any planted aquarium. Native to Borneo, this slow-growing aquatic plant is best attached to driftwood or rocks, with the rhizome kept above the substrate.

It thrives under low to medium lighting and can be grown in both low-tech and CO₂-injected aquariums. While CO₂ and regular fertilisation are not essential, they will enhance the plant's colour, growth, and overall appearance. Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for foreground or midground placement, while also providing natural shelter for shrimp and small fish.
