L201 Orinoco Angel Pleco 3cm

L201 Orinoco Angel Pleco (Hypancistrus sp. L201) is a stunning dwarf pleco species native to the Orinoco River basin in South America. Known for its striking pattern of bright yellow to cream spots across a dark body, this peaceful bottom-dweller is a favourite among pleco enthusiasts.

Growing to around 10–12cm, L201 Plecos are well suited to medium and large aquariums with plenty of caves, driftwood and hiding places. They thrive in warm, well-oxygenated water and are primarily nocturnal, becoming more active during the evening.

Unlike common plecos, L201s remain relatively small and will not outgrow most home aquariums. They are omnivorous and enjoy a varied diet including sinking pellets, algae wafers, frozen foods and protein-rich treats.

With proper care, these beautiful plecos can live for many years and make an excellent addition to peaceful community aquariums.
