We love setting up the perfect home for our Peach Bolt Shrimp. They are a joy to watch in a well-designed tank. It's like gourmet dining for our eyes.
To keep our shrimp happy, we focus on tank size, water quality, substrate, plants, and decorations. Let's dive into what makes a great tank for these beautiful shrimp.
Peach Bolt Shrimp need a tank of at least 10 gallons. But, a 15-20 gallon tank is better for them. It gives them room to swim and a diverse environment.
The water must be just right. It should have a pH of 6.5-7.5, a temperature of 68-82°F, and be moderately soft to medium hardness.
A fine, soft substrate like sand or small gravel is best. It looks like their natural home.
Live and artificial plants add beauty and hiding spots for the shrimp.
Decor like driftwood, rocks, and caves make the tank look natural. They also provide shelter.
To keep our shrimp healthy and colourful, we need a balanced tank. Regular water changes, good filtration, and the right lighting are key. This way, we help our shrimp grow and thrive. It's good for them and for sustainable fishing.
The Peach Bolt Shrimp, with a light orange, shiny shell, often perches on wood branches in aquariums.

However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period
To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:
🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.
🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home.
🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.
🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.
🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.
