The Sunrise Hifin Platy (Xiphophorus maculatus) is a beautiful livebearing fish featuring a brilliant sunrise blend of orange, golden yellow, and soft red hues, complemented by its distinctive high dorsal fin. Sunrise Hifin Platies are highly active and social fish that thrive in community aquariums alongside other peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, corydoras, and shrimp. Their vibrant colours become even more intense under quality lighting and with a varied, nutritious diet.
