Anubias Pinto is a rare and highly sought-after variety of Anubias, prized for its striking white, cream, and green variegated leaves. Each leaf develops a unique pattern, making every plant one of a kind. Its compact growth habit makes it an excellent choice for nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, and aquascapes where it can be showcased as a feature plant.
Like other Anubias varieties, Anubias Pinto is hardy and easy to care for, thriving in low-tech aquariums without the need for CO₂ injection. Due to its variegation, it grows more slowly than standard Anubias species and benefits from stable water conditions.
Tips
- Do not bury the rhizome in the substrate, as this may cause it to rot.
- Best attached to driftwood, rocks, or other hardscape materials.
- Avoid intense lighting, which may encourage algae growth on the leaves.
- Maintain stable water parameters for the best coloration and health.
- Remove algae gently from leaves to preserve their appearance.
Suitable for: Nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, planted aquariums, and collector aquascapes. 🌿✨
