Samolus parviflorus 'Green' is a unique aquatic plant known for its fresh green leaves that grow in a compact rosette. It is a great choice for adding a natural focal point to the foreground or midground of an aquascape.

The plant has a relatively slow growth rate and, under good conditions, can develop into a beautiful, compact green clump, adding natural texture and depth to the aquarium.

Does it require aquasoil?
👉 Aquasoil is not strictly required, but a nutrient-rich substrate is recommended for the best growth, as Samolus parviflorus can absorb a significant amount of nutrients through its roots.

If planted in an inert substrate, it can still grow successfully, but we recommend using root tabs or root fertiliser to provide nutrients to the root system.
