How It Works:

• Ammonia Alert:
  • This sensor constantly monitors the levels of free ammonia in the aquarium, which is the most toxic form of ammonia for aquatic life. The sensor disc changes color in response to the ammonia concentration, allowing you to detect harmful levels before they affect your fish. The color ranges typically shift from yellow (safe) to green and blue (dangerous levels), alerting you when immediate action is needed.
• pH Alert:
  • This sensor monitors the aquarium's pH levels, providing a visual indication of pH changes over time. The sensor changes color to reflect the pH, helping you maintain a stable environment. By glancing at the pH Alert disc, you can see whether the pH is within the desired range for your fish.

Both of these devices work through a colorimetric process, requiring no special maintenance, and they remain within the aquarium for continuous monitoring.

Duration:

Both Ammonia Alert and pH Alert last for up to a year. During this time, they offer ongoing monitoring without the need for batteries or regular recalibration.
