Seachem pH Alert (6 Month) is an advanced, easy-to-use device designed to continuously monitor the pH levels in freshwater aquariums, ensuring a stable and healthy environment for your fish. Unlike traditional test kits that require frequent manual testing, this sensor provides real-time feedback by changing color according to the current pH levels. This allows aquarists to instantly know if their tank's water is too acidic, too alkaline, or within the safe range, eliminating guesswork and reducing the stress of maintaining proper water conditions.
The pH Alert uses a color-changing sensor that responds to pH variations. Its color ranges from yellow (pH below 6.4), green (optimal range 6.4-7.8), to blue (pH above 7.8), providing an easy visual reference. It works continuously and does not require any additional chemicals or frequent calibration. Simply place the sensor in the aquarium, and it will remain effective for up to 6 months, making it a low-maintenance solution for long-term pH monitoring.
This product is ideal for freshwater aquarium keepers who want to ensure consistent water quality for their fish without the need for constant testing or expensive equipment. The Seachem pH Alert is small, discreet, and reliable, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced aquarists looking for an efficient, hassle-free method to monitor water conditions.

However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period
To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:
🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.
🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home.
🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.
🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.
🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.
