xSeachem Reef Builder™ is a specialized supplement designed to increase carbonate alkalinity (KH) in reef aquariums without causing an immediate rise in pH. Over time, it helps stabilize pH at 8.3, ensuring a healthy and stable environment for corals. Maintaining proper alkalinity is essential for coral growth, as both carbonates and calcium are critical for coral skeletal formation. Unlike some alkalinity boosters, Reef Builder™ does not deplete calcium, magnesium, or strontium, preserving the delicate balance of reef chemistry.
For situations where both pH and alkalinity need adjustment, Reef Builder™ can be used alongside Seachem Reef Buffer™. Regular testing of alkalinity levels is recommended to prevent fluctuations and maintain optimal conditions for coral health.

Dosing Instructions:
Beginner:
- Dissolve 3 grams (1/2 level teaspoon) of Reef Builder™ in at least 250 mL (1 cup) of freshwater.
- Add this solution to 150 L of aquarium water twice a week.
- Test alkalinity every two weeks and adjust dosing as needed.
Advanced:
- Test alkalinity using a reliable test kit before dosing.
- Each 3 grams per 150 L raises alkalinity by approximately 0.25 meq/L (0.7 dKH).
- Adjust dosage or frequency based on alkalinity needs, not exceeding 12 grams per 150 L per day.
Expert (Continuous Drip Method):
- Determine your reef aquarium’s alkalinity consumption rate.
- Use the formula: m = 0.08 × v × a
- m = grams of Reef Builder™ to add to top-off water
- v = total tank volume in liters
- a = desired alkalinity increase in meq/L
- Example: To raise alkalinity by 1 meq/L in a 200 L tank, add 16 grams of Reef Builder™ to the top-off water.
Usage Tips:
✅ Avoid overdosing, as excessive alkalinity can reduce calcium, magnesium, and strontium availability.
✅ Do not mix directly with calcium, magnesium, or strontium supplements—dose them at least 30 minutes apart or on alternate days.
✅ Regular alkalinity testing is essential for maintaining a stable reef environment.

- For any livestock, you have in your order. If there is any dead problem during transportation. You can send us an email and the video of you receiving the package, if there is more than 50% damage, we will send a replacement, and if less than 50% we will send store credit.

- Any orders you make from noon Wednesday onward will be processed the next Monday.

- For any livestock you have in your order, we will ship them via express services such as Toll and Startrack Premium. This will usually take 24 - 48 hours to reach you. (after leaving our workshop)

Micro Aquatic Care Instructions
xOur shop always delivers healthy shrimp and fish with the best color of their own.
However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period
To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:
🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.
🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home.
🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.
🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.
🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.
