Seachem Stability is a scientifically formulated biological additive designed to establish and maintain a stable and healthy biofilter in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Unlike traditional cycling methods that can take weeks to fully establish a biological filter, Stability offers a faster, safer alternative that prevents the buildup of harmful substances such as ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, which can be lethal to fish and other aquatic organisms.
At the heart of Seachem Stability is a carefully selected blend of beneficial bacteria. These bacteria work together to break down waste materials in the aquarium, converting harmful ammonia and nitrites into less toxic nitrates. What makes Seachem Stability unique is that it contains species of bacteria that are non-sulfur-fixing, meaning they do not produce toxic hydrogen sulfide, a common problem with other bacterial additives. This ensures that Stability is entirely safe for use in all aquarium types, including those with delicate fish, plants, corals, and invertebrates.
The product is particularly beneficial during the critical initial setup of a new tank, where fish and other aquatic creatures are most vulnerable to "new tank syndrome." In this phase, ammonia and nitrite levels can spike due to a lack of established bacteria to break them down, often leading to stress or even death for fish. Seachem Stability helps avoid this by rapidly introducing the necessary bacteria to start the nitrogen cycle, ensuring a quick and efficient transition to a stable environment.
Seachem Stability is also highly effective for maintaining an established aquarium's biofilter during stressful events such as adding new fish, performing large water changes, cleaning the filter, or administering medications that might harm beneficial bacteria populations. In these cases, Stability helps replenish and reinforce the bacterial colonies, ensuring they continue to process waste effectively and keep harmful compounds at bay.
Additionally, Stability is not just a short-term solution but also supports the ongoing health of the aquarium. Regular use of Stability during routine maintenance, such as after water changes or cleaning, helps to continually fortify the aquarium’s biological filtration, preventing fluctuations in water quality that can lead to stress and illness in fish.

Compatibility and Safety: One of the key advantages of Seachem Stability is its 100% safety for all aquarium inhabitants, including fish, invertebrates, plants, corals, and more. Stability can be used in conjunction with other Seachem products, and it will not interfere with the effectiveness of medications or treatments being used in the aquarium. This makes it ideal for use in quarantine tanks, medicated tanks, and newly cycled tanks where fish health is especially delicate.
By using Seachem Stability, aquarists can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with a quicker, safer cycling process and ongoing support for the biofilter. Stability ensures the survival and well-being of fish during vulnerable periods, significantly reducing the risk of "new tank syndrome" and other common issues related to water quality. It also supports long-term biological balance, promoting a clean, healthy, and stress-free aquarium environment.
With its scientifically developed formula and ease of use, Seachem Stability is a reliable choice for both novice and experienced aquarists looking to establish a strong biological filter and maintain pristine water quality in their aquariums.

However, the shrimp and fish you receive may be discolored and the reason of this issue is strong vibration during transportation and they're not be fed during the transport period
To handle this problem we highly recommend to you:
🚩Let the fish relax helps them adapt to any changes in water temperature in the tank. Also prevents pH shock - an imbalance between the water in the shop tank and your tank.
🚩Place the fish bag in a cool, corner, and dark place. Prevent the bag from being bumped, slipped, or dropped. This'll give your new fish a good recovery and acclimatization after a shaky ride from the shop to your home.
🚩Feed your old fish first to distract them, preventing them from bullying your new fish.
🚩Your new aquarium tank should have a pH of zero ammonia and chlorine before adding new fish.
🚩Turn off the lights, reduce the glare in the room, or limit the light entering the aquarium. This will help the new fish not be stressed.
